ABOUT
Omagh Pride was founded in 2021 when we hosted our first Pride event. Following this success we are here to stay with our purpose being:
To organise an annual Pride Parade in Omagh.
To enhance the rights and wellbeing of of LGBTQ people in West Tyrone.
To cultivate Queer cultural expression.
To increase visibility and representation for Queer people in rural areas.
To work in partnership with local statutory, community and voluntary organisations and agencies to promote inclusion of the LGBTQIA+ Community and to enhance access to services.
To show solidarity with LGBTQIA+ struggles everywhere.
We are a group made of a small committee and many other volunteers who all come together to make our purpose happen.
